Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo
Welcome at Cairo Airport and private transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 – Memphis, Saqqara & Dahshur
Discover Memphis, Egypt’s first capital and seat of the god Ptah.
Continue to Saqqara, where the Step Pyramid of King Djoser rises — the world’s first monumental stone structure.
Visit Dahshur’s pyramids, the Bent and Red Pyramids of King Sneferu, early masterpieces of pyramid architecture.
Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3 – Giza Plateau, Egyptian Museum & Khan el-Khalili
Marvel at the Great Pyramids of Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx, and Chephren’s valley temple.
Explore the Egyptian Museum, home to over 150,000 treasures including Tutankhamun’s golden mask.
End the day wandering through the lively Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, a maze of colors and scents.

Day 4 – Cairo to Luxor | Karnak & Luxor Temples
Flight to Luxor and embarkation on your Nile cruise.
Visit the Temple of Karnak, a vast sanctuary dedicated to Amun, and the Luxor Temple, elegantly lit at dusk.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

Day 5 – Theban Necropolis & Sailing to Edfu
Visit the Valley of the Kings, eternal resting place of pharaohs including Tutankhamun.
Admire the terraced Temple of Hatshepsut and pause by the Colossi of Memnon.
Return to your ship for lunch and begin sailing south, passing through the Esna Lock.
Dinner and overnight on board while sailing to Edfu.

Day 6 – Edfu & Kom Ombo
By horse carriage, visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved sanctuaries.
Sail to Kom Ombo and explore its unusual twin temple, dedicated to both Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the Elder.
Dinner and overnight on board en route to Aswan.

Day 7 – Aswan: Philae, Unfinished Obelisk & Felucca Ride
Discover the enchanting Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, saved from the Nile floods.
See the Unfinished Obelisk, an immense monument abandoned in the granite quarries.
In the afternoon, enjoy a peaceful felucca sail around Elephantine Island.
Dinner and overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast on board and disembarkation.

Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight.
