Day 1: Arrival in Aswan

• Airport Welcome: Your southern Egyptian adventure begins with a warm meet-and-assist service upon arrival at Aswan Airport, the gateway to Nubian culture and ancient wonders.

• Private Transfer & Check-in: Enjoy a smooth, private transfer directly to your Aswan hotel. Check in and settle into your room, often with beautiful views of the Nile or the city.

• Evening at Leisure: The remainder of the day is free to relax after your journey. You might take a leisurely stroll along the palm-lined Corniche or enjoy a quiet dinner as you prepare for the days ahead.

Day 2: Philae Temple & Embarkation on the Dahabiya

• Philae Temple: After breakfast, take a scenic motorboat ride to Agilkia Island to explore the exquisite Temple of Philae. This graceful complex, dedicated to the goddess Isis, was meticulously relocated here in a UNESCO rescue mission to save it from the rising waters of the Aswan High Dam.

• Embarkation & First Sail: Transfer to your traditional Dahabiya sailboat, your intimate home for the next two nights. Enjoy a welcome lunch on board as you begin your peaceful sail northward on the Nile towards Kom Ombo.

• First Night on the Nile: Continue sailing to moor near the historic site of Gebel El Silsila. Enjoy dinner under the stars and experience the profound tranquility of your first night on the river.

Day 3: Gebel El Silsila & Edfu

• Gebel El Silsila Quarries: After breakfast, disembark to explore the ancient sandstone quarries of Gebel El Silsila. Walk among the dramatic cliffs where stone for Karnak and other great temples was cut, and see the rock-cut shrines and inscriptions left by ancient workers.

• Edfu Temple: Sail onward to Edfu. Here, a traditional horse-drawn carriage will take you to the magnificent Temple of Horus. This incredibly well-preserved Ptolemaic temple, dedicated to the falcon god, is the largest of its kind and offers a complete vision of ancient Egyptian religion and architecture.

• Sailing to Esna: Return to your Dahabiya for lunch and continue your gentle voyage north. Spend a final serene evening on board, moored near Esna, with dinner and reflection on the day’s discoveries.

Day 4: Disembarkation & Transfer to Hurghada

• Disembarkation & Karnak Temple: After breakfast, disembark in Esna. Drive north to Luxor to visit the colossal Temple of Karnak. Walk through its awe-inspiring Great Hypostyle Hall, a forest of 134 gigantic columns, and learn how this vast religious city evolved over 2,000 years.

• Journey to the Red Sea: After your visit, begin the scenic drive east through the dramatic mountains of the Eastern Desert. Watch the landscape transform as you approach the coast.

• Arrival in Hurghada: Arrive at your beachfront hotel in Hurghada, Egypt’s premier Red Sea resort city. Check in and enjoy your first evening with the sea breeze and the vibrant energy of the marina.

Days 5–7: Hurghada – Red Sea Relaxation

• Beachfront Leisure: Enjoy three full, uninterrupted days to unwind at your own pace. Hurghada’s golden beaches and the Red Sea’s famously clear, warm turquoise waters provide the perfect setting for pure relaxation. Lounge by the pool, take refreshing swims, or stroll along the promenade.

• Optional Adventures: Personalize your stay with a variety of optional excursions: snorkel or scuba dive among breathtaking coral reefs teeming with marine life; experience the desert on a thrilling quad bike or Jeep safari; take a relaxing boat trip to Giftun Island; or indulge in various water sports and rejuvenating spa treatments.

Day 8: Departure

• Final Transfer: After a final leisurely breakfast at your hotel, check out at the designated time. Your private driver will meet you for the comfortable transfer to Hurghada International Airport for your onward international flight, concluding your journey through ancient wonders and coastal paradise.
