Day 1 – Aswan to Kom Ombo & Gebel el-Silsila

• Embarkation in Aswan.

• Afternoon sail to Kom Ombo and visit its extraordinary Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Sobek (crocodile god) and Horus (falcon god), overlooking a dramatic curve of the Nile.

• Continue sailing towards Gebel el-Silsila.

• Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2 – Gebel el-Silsila, Bassaw Island & Edfu

• Morning visit to Gebel el-Silsila, the great sandstone quarry of the pharaohs, with its rock-cut temple of Horemheb and numerous inscriptions.

• Sail to Bassaw Island. Stroll through its lush landscapes of mango, banana, and lemon groves, and meet the welcoming villagers.

• Continue to Edfu. Travel by horse-drawn carriage to visit the grand Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus — the best-preserved temple of ancient Egypt.

• Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3 – Elkab & El Hegz

• Morning navigation to Elkab, the former capital of Upper Egypt in the 4th millennium BC. Visit its tombs from the New Kingdom, remarkably well preserved.

• Lunch on board as the dahabeya sails on to El Hegz.

• Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4 – Esna to Luxor | Disembarkation

• Breakfast on board.

• Sail to Esna, where the cruise ends.

• Transfer by private vehicle to Luxor (approx. 50 km north).
