Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Meet & assist upon arrival at Cairo International Airport.
Private transfer to your hotel.
Check-in and overnight stay in Cairo.


Day 2: Ancient Capitals – Memphis, Dahshur & Saqqara

Breakfast at the hotel.

Memphis – The first capital of ancient Egypt, founded by King Menes around 3100 BC, and once a flourishing cultural and political hub.

Dahshur – Home to the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, early attempts at perfecting pyramid construction during the reign of King Sneferu.

Saqqara – Site of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the earliest monumental stone structure in the world, marking the beginning of pyramid architecture.

Lunch at a traditional oriental restaurant.
Return to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.


Day 3: The Grand Egyptian Museum & The Giza Pyramids

Breakfast at the hotel.

The Grand Egyptian Museum – A world-class museum housing thousands of ancient treasures, including artifacts from Tutankhamun’s tomb.

The Giza Plateau – Home to the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, along with the enigmatic Sphinx, guarding the plateau for over 4,500 years.

Return to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.


Day 4: Cairo to Luxor – Temples of Karnak & Luxor

Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Luxor.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel.

Temple of Karnak – A vast complex of sanctuaries, pylons, and obelisks built over 2,000 years, dedicated mainly to the god Amun.

Day 5: West Bank of Luxor & Embarkation on Dahabiya

Day 6: El Kab & Edfu

Breakfast on board.

El Kab – An ancient walled city with remarkable rock-cut tombs of nobles and officials, offering insight into daily life during the New Kingdom.

Temple of Horus at Edfu – One of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, symbolizing divine kingship.

Continue sailing. Dinner and overnight at El Ramadi.


Day 7: Village Life & Gebel El Silsila

Breakfast on board.

Bassaw Village – A traditional Egyptian village where visitors can experience authentic rural life, lush fields, and warm local hospitality.

Gebel El Silsila – Ancient sandstone quarries where blocks for temples such as Karnak were extracted, dotted with shrines and inscriptions.

Dinner and overnight moored near Beshir Island.


Day 8: Kom Ombo – Swimming in the Nile – Sail to Aswan

Breakfast on board.

Day 9: Philae Temple & Aswan
