Itinerary

Day 1 – Cairo to the White Desert (330 km)
Early morning departure from your Cairo hotel.
Drive through the desert plateau to reach the Bahariya Oasis (approx. 4 hours).
Switch to 4x4s and head south into the desert:

Explore the Black Desert, with its volcanic hills and lunar scenery.
Lunch at El Haize Oasis, followed by a swim in a natural hot spring.
Continue to Crystal Mountain, a dazzling arch streaked with quartz veins.
Cross the Aqabat Valley, where desert “flowers” of pyrite lie scattered in golden sands.

Arrive at the White Desert in the late afternoon. Walk among surreal chalk formations shaped by wind into mushrooms, pyramids, and towers.
Enjoy a fiery desert sunset before setting up camp.
Barbecue dinner by the fire & overnight camping under the stars.

Day 2 – White Desert to Cairo
Wake up to the serene light of dawn and watch the desert glow at sunrise.
Breakfast in camp, then a short walk to savor the silence and beauty of this surreal landscape.
Return by 4×4 through Bahariya, then onward by private vehicle to Cairo.
Drop-off at your hotel in the afternoon
