Day 1: Aswan – Philae Temple & Kom Ombo

• Arrival & Welcome: Your journey begins with a warm greeting at Aswan Airport or your hotel, followed by a private transfer to your elegant Dahabiya, your floating sanctuary for the coming days.

• Philae Temple: Your first exploration is a motorboat ride to Agilkia Island to visit the breathtaking Temple of Philae. This romantic complex, dedicated to the goddess Isis, was saved from the Nile’s waters and stands as a masterpiece of ancient devotion and architectural grace.

• Embarkation & Sail to Kom Ombo: Settle into your luxurious cabin and enjoy a welcome lunch on board as you begin sailing north. In the afternoon, visit the unique Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus the Elder. Return for a gourmet dinner under the stars, overnighting near Maniha.

Day 2: Gebel El Silsila & Bassao Island

• Gebel El Silsila Quarries: After a peaceful breakfast on deck, disembark to explore the ancient sandstone quarries of Gebel El Silsila. Walk among dramatic cliffs and see the inscriptions and rock-cut shrines left by the workers who supplied stone for Egypt’s grandest monuments.

• Bassao Island: Sail to the picturesque Bassao Island for an immersive cultural experience. Stroll through lush palm groves and fertile fields, interacting with friendly locals and witnessing the gentle, timeless rhythm of traditional Nile-side life.

• Leisurely Sailing to Fawaza: Enjoy lunch and afternoon tea while sailing serenely towards Fawaza. The day culminates with another exquisite dinner under a canopy of stars, moored in the tranquil evening calm.

Day 3: Edfu Temple & Esna Market

• Temple of Edfu: Sail to Edfu after breakfast. A traditional horse-drawn carriage takes you to the colossal Temple of Horus, the largest and most completely preserved temple in Egypt. Its towering pylons and detailed reliefs vividly depict the mythological battle between Horus and Seth.

• Sail to Esna & Local Exploration: Return to the Dahabiya for lunch as you continue sailing north to Esna. In the late afternoon, disembark to wander through the vibrant Esna Old Market, a sensory delight of spices, textiles, and local crafts, offering an authentic glimpse into daily Egyptian life.

• Farewell Dinner: Enjoy a special farewell dinner on board, reminiscing about the journey as you spend your final night moored in Esna.

Day 4: Esna Temple & Transfer to Luxor

• Esna Temple (Temple of Khnum): After breakfast and check-out, visit the Temple of Khnum in Esna. This hidden gem, dedicated to the ram-headed creator god, lies below street level and features a beautifully preserved hypostyle hall with astronomical ceiling decorations.

• Transfer to Luxor & Valley of the Kings: A private vehicle transfers you to Luxor (approx. 1 hour). Here, you will explore the legendary Valley of the Kings, descending into the ornately decorated tombs where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were laid to rest for eternity.

• End of Services: After your visit, you will be transferred to your Luxor hotel or to Luxor Airport, concluding your luxurious Dahabiya journey filled with history, culture, and unforgettable Nile moments.
