Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Meet & assist upon arrival at Cairo International Airport.
Private transfer to your hotel.
Check-in and overnight stay in Cairo.


Day 2: Saqqara & The Giza Pyramids

Breakfast at the hotel.

Saqqara – Home to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, the earliest stone structure in history and the start of pyramid architecture.

The Giza Pyramids – The last remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, built for Kings Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, with the mysterious Sphinx guarding the plateau.

Lunch with views of the pyramids.
Return to hotel and overnight in Cairo.


Day 3: The Grand Egyptian Museum, Citadel & Khan el-Khalili

Breakfast at the hotel.

The Grand Egyptian Museum – A modern treasure house of Egypt’s heritage, including the golden treasures of Tutankhamun.

The Citadel of Saladin & Mosque of Muhammad Ali – A fortress overlooking Cairo, with the majestic “Alabaster Mosque” symbolizing Ottoman influence.

Khan el-Khalili Bazaar – Cairo’s most famous souk, alive with colorful shops, spices, crafts, and traditional cafés.

Lunch at an oriental restaurant.
Evening transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Luxor.
Arrival in Luxor, transfer to hotel, and overnight.


Day 4: Karnak, Valley of the Kings & Embarkation on Dahabiya

Breakfast at the hotel.

Temple of Karnak – A vast complex dedicated to Amun, showcasing grand halls, towering columns, and sacred lakes.

Valley of the Kings – Burial site of pharaohs, with richly decorated tombs including that of Tutankhamun.

Colossi of Memnon – Two imposing statues of Amenhotep III that once stood guard at his mortuary temple.

Transfer to Esna (50 km south of Luxor) for embarkation on the Dahabiya Nile Cruise.

Day 5: El Kab & Edfu – Sunset at El Ramadi

Day 6: Bassaw Village & Gebel El Silsila

Gebel El Silsila – Ancient sandstone quarries where blocks for grand temples like Karnak were carved, featuring inscriptions and shrines.

Dinner and overnight moored near Beshir Island.


Day 7: Kom Ombo & Philae Temple – Sail to Aswan
