Itinerary

Day 1 – Aswan: Philae & the Unfinished Obelisk
Transfer from Aswan airport, station, or hotel to your cruise ship. Check into your cabin and enjoy lunch on board.
Afternoon visits:

Temple of Philae, dedicated to Isis, located on the idyllic island of Agilika.
Unfinished Obelisk, still lying in its granite quarry, showcasing ancient carving techniques.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Aswan.

Day 2 – Kom Ombo
Breakfast on board. Free morning in Aswan (optional excursion to Abu Simbel, 260 km south).
Lunch on board, then sail north to Kom Ombo.

Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dramatically set above the river, with twin sanctuaries dedicated to Horus and Sobek.
Continue sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Day 3 – Edfu | Esna Lock | Luxor
Breakfast on board.

Visit the Temple of Edfu, reached by horse-drawn carriage, one of Egypt’s best-preserved sanctuaries.
Sail to Esna, enjoy lunch on board, and experience the Esna Lock crossing. Continue on to Luxor.
Evening visit to Luxor Temple, spectacularly illuminated at sunset.

Day 4 – The Theban Necropolis | Disembarkation
Breakfast on board. Excursion to the West Bank of Thebes:

Valley of the Kings, resting place of pharaohs with richly decorated tombs.
Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of harmony and symmetry set against the cliffs.
